ALTBalaji’s BOOO….SABKI PHATEGI: A Rib Tickling Horror Comedy

ALTBalaji’s most-awaited, multi-starrer, horror comedy BOOO….Sabki Phategi is all set to spook you and tickle your funny bones at the same time. Launching today, the 8-episode web series, the first of its kind from India, is already making headlines for its stellar ensemble cast and the rib-tickling yet eerie trailer. Making digital debuts with it, Tusshar Kapoor and Mallika Sherawat will be seen sharing screen space after 17 years. Both the actors today launched their web-series BOOO…. Sabki Phategi in the capital city.

The actors were accompanied by director Farhad Samji, who is best known as the co-writer of the “Golmaal” and “Housefull” series. The web series also features celebrated actors like Sanjay Mishra, Shefali Jariwala , Krushna Abhishek , Ashwini Kalsekar, Kiku Sharda, Mukesh Tiwari, Vipul Roy, Anil Charanjeet, Shweta Gulati, Saba Saudagar and Sakshi Pradhan. Making a grand entry into a completely new genre, ALTBalaji’s horror comedy BOOO….Sabki Phategi is now streaming on ALTBalaji.

The web series revolves around a group of friends who plan to surprise their old friend and spend a few nights at a desolate resort, managed by a blind caretaker (Sanjay Mishra). The group ignores all the supernatural activities taking place in this empty and spooky resort. Things start to take a spooky turn when members of the group become ghosts after getting killed. Manav, played by Tusshar Kapoor, is the most innocent guy in the group and the butt of all jokes. Though he handles everything with a smile on his face, he does feel really bad about it. But, there’s more than meets the eye as his character, Manav, has an unseen mysterious side that nobody knows about.

On the other hand, not paying attention to the oddness of this place, the group ignores all the various paranormal activities taking place in this haunted resort including Haseena, played by Mallika Sherawat, a mysterious walking witch who strangely appears and disappears at certain moments.

Haseena, while creating a mystery, fear, and confusion among the group of friends also keeps trying very hard to communicate with them.
Known for his impeccable comic timing, Tusshar Kapoor quipped, “This is my digital debut, and I am really excited to associate with Farhad Samji again, who also happens to be my director from Golmaal. I have got an overwhelming response from audiences to the trailer and I’m hoping now the audiences will binge-watch the show and have as much fun as we had shooting it”.

Mallika Sherawat, on her digital debut, commented, “This is the first time that I am playing the character of a ghost and I completely enjoyed it. This has been a fabulous opportunity for me, working with actors who have such amazing comic timing like Sanjay Mishra, Kiku, Krishna and Tusshar. The project is helmed by Farhad Samji and this is also the biggest reason why I took up the project. I totally enjoyed working with the entire cast and crew and I am sure we will be able to make you laugh out loud along with scaring you.”

On the launch, Farhad Samji, Director said, “Tusshar and I go way back, right from our ‘Golmaal’ days. I was very sure that I wanted this cast and I am happy that they are on board. I truly enjoyed working with them. Hoping the audience will enjoy it too”

What was planned to be a joyous romantic night takes a turn for the worse due to some supernatural events happening at the resort!
