It doesn’t distinguish between the rich, poor and the torrid. It makes no distinction whatsoever between the privileged and the forlorn. All stand equal on its horrid scale. You must observe social distancing, be mindful of the currently practiced social distancing norms (in these pandemic-marred times) if you wish to prevail.
In one of the breaking pieces of news from the world of Bollywood, famous superstar Aamir Khan, renowned for his moving, measured performances on the big screen, has taken ill. In testing positive for the COVID 19 Coronavirus, the actor regarded as ‘Mr. Perfect’ in the Indian Film Industry has contracted the COVID 19 virus and is reportedly resting at his domestic set-up.
In the more recent times, there were updates about several actors contracting the infectious and stringent COVID 19 virus. Stars like Kartik Aryan and Ranbir Kapoor were the more recent victims of the ghastly infection and now, everyone’s favorite mega-star Aamir Khan has contracted the illness.
The reports at this time also confirm the news that, at present, the actor is self-quarantining from his home.
But if you were to refresh your memory and think about it, then you’d recollect that contracting the COVID 19 virus isn’t the only reason for which Aamir Khan has made news in the recent times. It was only days ago when the famous Lagaan and Dil Chahta Hai actor stormed to headlines. In deciding to quit social media, labeling the ‘pretense’ as the great lie of the most dominant form of the media (of our times), Aamir Khan became the key talking point of the tinsel town.
It’s not that Aamir Khan’s decision to quit social media cleared any questions and escaped any probes with the actor facing several questions about his sudden decision at media events in the days following his stance, to which he’d retort with the following:
Do not put your theories about that. Main apni dhunki mein rehta hoon (I live in my own world). I am anyway not active on social media, I don’t post anything
Meanwhile, here is what the star performer’s spokesperson had to offer in lines with the superstar’s current health status:
“Mr. Aamir Khan has tested positive for Covid 19. He is at home in self quarantine, following all the protocols and he’s doing fine. All those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure. Thank you for all your wishes and concern.”
That said where this new year 2021 is concerned, then his audiences can certainly expect a rollicking performance from one of the most revered Khans of all time. One of the keenly-anticipated movies of the year is Lal Singh Chaddha, due to release around Christmas (Dec, 25).
It’s believed that Khan would be portraying a heartening character albeit similar to the one portrayed by none other than Tom Hanks in the famous ’90s mega-hit Forest Gump. As a matter of fact, over the years the two actors have often stirred discussions regarding their talent with countless fans believing that Aamir Khan is quite the Hanks of Bollywood given his mega acting canvass and the widely-acclaimed versatile acting style.
