The trailer of “31st October” is out and we are surprised to see the convincing performance of Vir Das and Soha Ali Khan in the trailer. “31st October” is an upcoming political thriller based on 1984 anti-Sikh riots. The story follows the assassination of Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi who were shot by her own Sardar bodyguard and after that, the nation saw a haunting hatred for Sikhs.
31st October’s story revolves around a Sikh family, a husband-wife and their two kids who are pleading with their people and friends to save them from the lethal anti-Sikh riots. Running away from the protesters and trying to save themselves from getting killed. Vir and Soha as Sikh husband-wife are winning hearts with their overwhelming performance and the plot of the movie is so intriguing that you will be hooked on it till the end.

The movie features Vineet Sharma, Deep Raj Rana, Gurjit Singh, Lakhwinder Singh, Aksshat Saluja, Nagesh Bhonsle other than Vir Das and Soha Ali Khan in key roles. The movie is written by Harry Sachdeva and directed by Shivaji Lotan Patil. Co-produced by Anand Prakash, the movie opens on 7 October 2016 in theaters.
