2015! What an amazing year for Bollywood. The Cinema industry has given a handful of interesting movies this year. We are growing in terms of concept and entertainment. Bollywood formulae are changing and this year saw a lot of incredible performances of mainstream actors. Now, Bollywood actors are ready to risk and experiment in their choices. On the other hand, we also had a lot of fun and entertaining movies, which may not have a great script but they were a laugh ride for sure. Love it or hate it but in all, it was a good year for the industry as well as the audiences.
If you haven’t seen them all, we don’t blame you but we have compiled a list of 21 best Bollywood films from 2015 and if you don’t watch them, then you are going to miss a good share of entertainment.
Akshay Kumar is an actor who does not only work for commercial movies. His effort to stay aligned with serious issues is his USP. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, Baby is a must watch. Akshay nailed it with his courageous performance.
It is a heart-warmer movie with the amazing performances of Bhumi Pednekar and Ayushmann Khurrana. With the amazing direction and execution of Sharat Katariya, Dum Laga Ke Haisha is praiseworthy.
Okay, I agree that most of the people did not appreciate the movie much but how can you miss the dynamic duo of Dhanush and Amitabh Bachchan. Right?
We all have seen Varun Dhawan as an entertainer but to see him in an intense character was a treat. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, Badlapur executes a side of Varun that was not seen before.
Watching Anushka Sharma play a fierce character on screen is a bonus for sure. NH10 is a great movie directed by Navdeep Singh
Though the movie features Sex as a main theme in the narrative but Hunterrr is a lot more than just Sex-comedy. Gulshan Devaiah’s acting did full justice to the character and let’s not forget Radhika Apte is killing it with her acting skills.
Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan is accepted and appreciated by most of the audience. The emotional quotient in the movie worked like a magic on the people. The little girl Harshaali Malhotra became the talk of the town instantly. Salman Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui were spectacular in the movie.
Sonam Kapoor can act and in Dolly Ki Doli you cannot take your eyes off her as she plays a Looteri Dulhan. The movie is a comedy that will leave you laughing till your jaws start hurting. Who wanna laugh Hard?
Kalki Koechlin is brilliant in the movie and journey from self-pity to self-love is incredible. Though her character is disabled but it does not evoke an emotion of pity and that is purely amazing.
A movie focused on the relationship of a Daughter and Father. Who else would have done justice to the characters than Deepika Padukone and legendary Amitabh Bachchan? You cannot just afford to miss this one.
The most talked movie of the year. If not for the story, watch it for its VFX. You will be stunned for sure.
The whole cast (R. Madhavan, Deepak Dobriyal, Jimmy Shergill and Eijaz Khan) was commendable, but the show stealer was one and only Kangana Ranaut. She stole the limelight every time she was on screen.
A different topic and a different approach of life make Masaan special. It is definitely a standout movie among others.
A thriller which will keep you captivated till the last. Ajay Devgan and Tabu are at their best in the movie and the story is beyond amazing. Your bar of curiosity will increase with every shot.
Based on a true story Talvar thrive in clutch situations. The movie is so intense and gripping that you will be engrossed in the story till the end. Irrfan Khan’s acting is stupendous.
The sequel of Pyaar Ka Punchnama was definitely the treat for young hearts. Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 was too hilarious to handle. Haven’t watched it yet? Go watch now!!
Another movie of Akshay Kumar, he plays a baddie but a good bad boy. The concept of raising voice against corruption worked well and the title played an apt role for Akshay’s character.
Not everyone understood the concept but if you want to see some reality on screen, you have to watch it for yourself. The movie is an eye opener for a lot of people who never had the courage to take a stand for themselves.
A mod age movie that depicts the women of the 21st century, as they are. No melodrama, no Sati Savitri tag – Pure execution of what they are and damn they are fabulous!!
Fan of Shahrukh Khan? If yes then watch it for him, if not then watch it for Shahrukh and Kajol’s on screen Jodi. We all know they create magic together.
The best performance of Ranveer Singh, he is just amazing. Watch it for the amazing and extraordinary performances of Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka Chopra. Sanjay Leela Bhansali created a masterpiece.
