‘Bhangra Ta Sajda’ From Veere Di Wedding Is The Reprised Version Of Your Favourite Wedding Song

Veere Di Wedding has got to be one of the most anticipated movies and weddings of the year, after all, it has some of the most talented actors in the industry, breaking the archetype of female lead actresses in this industry. By the looks of its trailer, the movie seems to be everything we have seen women do in reality but never on the screen, especially not portrayed by the lead female narrative of the movie. But then again, Bollywood rarely makes movies centered around a female character who is doing more than just waiting for Mr. Right.

The makers of Veere Di Wedding on Thursday released the second track from the movie – ‘Bhangra Ta Sajda’ – and much like the first one, even this is a party number. ‘Bhangra Ta Sajda’ is a reprised version of Punjabi’s favourite wedding song. The song has added beats and music to it, along with a unique “harder” which in its entirety makes the song a perfect party and shaadi number.

Now, let’s talk about the music video off ‘Bhangra Ta Sajda’ because it’s one gorgeous sight to behold. All the four ladies look absolutely stunning, decked in colourful and bright coloured traditional clothing, and all of it is giving us major goals. Plus, as a huge Permanent Roommates fan, my inner self couldn’t be more happy seeing Sumeet Vyas dancing.

There’s one scene in the music video where the four friends see a glimpse of their younger self-dancing, and it would just get you considering all the time that you’ve spent with your friends.
