AIB’s Desi YouTube Rewind 2017 Is The Best Thing To End Your Year With

YouTube has the tradition rewinds where they summarise an entire year with all the top songs of the year, along with what went viral and various YouTube stars too. All in all, the entire rewind is one fun thing to watch, however, there’s absolutely no sign of anything outside from the US territory. Which makes it hard for the audience from another side of the world to relate to everything and everyone shown.

However, this year, AIB (All India Bakchod) took the matter into their own hands of presenting a YouTube rewind that the Indian audience deserved.

Along with usual actors from AIB videos, Desi YouTube Rewind 2017 also featured some really big names from Indian YouTube community. But the format is somewhere similar to that of last year where everyone in the video is trying to stop a guy from drinking and driving. While some are pointing out how amazing 2017 was, another group is counting all the fuckall things that happened in 2017.

The happy points of 2017 included ISRO satellite launch, Pahlaj Nihalani’s exit, Chiku a.k.a Virat Kohli’s centuries, Faye Dsouza’s existence, Miss World win for India and Right to Privacy. However, it was the low points of 2017 that actually made the video a bit cordial and it included, GST’s arrival, lack of oxygen in hospitals, a ton of rail accidents in 2017, Delhi’s smog fest and Chester Bennington’s suicide.

The Desi YouTube Rewind 2017 starred Kumar Varun, Naveen Polishetty, Ram Subramaniam, Ashish Shakya, Rohan Joshi, Shantanu Aman. The cameo list included Kaneez Surka, Zakir Khan, Mallika Dua, Abish Mathew, CarryMinati, Yahya Bootwala, Biswa Kalyan Rath, Atul Khatri, Aadar Malik and many other Desi YouTubers.
