15 Words You Should Add To Your Day To Day Life

English is a wonderful language that holds an infinite number of words in the treasure of her dictionary. Becoming fluent in English is tricky but you can master this language simply by a constant learning process. Your hectic life may not give you the chance to open the dictionary every day, but you can look up and learn the new words every now and then. Believe me, the language will continue to amaze you everyday.

With times, the uses of the words changes and the new words replace the old ones. There are so many terms you use in your day to day life, but you don’t know the exact word that holds the meaning of those terms. Here are 15 words you should learn to improve your vocabulary, not all of them are, what you could call useful or everyday terms but you might have better luck with most of the words listed here.

Add these words to your vocabulary and you will be the charmer in your group.

1. Agastopia – Admiration of a particular part of someone’s body.

2. Camisado – A military attack carried out at night.

3. Donkeyman – A  man working in a ship’s engine room.

4. Eye Candy – Visual images that are superficially attractive and entertaining but intellectually undemanding.

5. Hunt-and-peck – Using only one or two fingers on a computer keyboard.

6. Lollygag – To spend time in an aimless or lazy way.

7. Meacock – A coward or effeminate person.

8. Mouse Potato – A person who spends large amount of their leisure or working time on a computer.

9. Natation – Swimming.

10. Opsimath – A person who begins to learn or study late in life.

11. Panurgic – Able or ready to do anything.

12. Pre-Loved – Second Hand.

13. Previse – To foresee or predict an event.

14. Rumpot – A habitual or heavy drinker.

15. Screenager – A person in their teens or twenties who has an aptitude for using computers and internet.
