Business and Economy

How Does Mr. Anand Mahindra View The Indian Economy?

For sure writing viral tweets and posting emotive, positive and insightful messages on social media aren’t the only things that Mr. Anand Mahindra does well. Not a man who likes to transcend into the realm of the non-fascinating and impractical or boisterous, there’s more than reasonable level of soundness and sense in what the famous moustached industrialist from India has to say.

And that’s whether he speaks on the state of affairs of the Indian economy or the mobility sector!

The man who may only seem a famous mugshot behind the net worth of Rs 200 crore to some, is actually a thinker, a reshaper of the rules of business, someone about whom you’d feel it’s apt, totally just to address him as an industrialist, not as a businessman.

And frankly, each time where an Anand Mahindra either takes to the dias, gets behind the mic or takes to any social media platform from which to express his views about a country he so deeply loves, it does become a site to behold.

Don’t know whether you have, in your own capacity, noted the above or not, but when Anand Mahindra speaks of India, it seems as though, he is addressing his mother, much like a humble, simple albeit devoted son.

And having said that, recently, Mr. Anand Mahindra opened up on the subject that’s been worrying and perhaps silently affecting a great many about India. It’s related to what might happen to India in the next few years, who will usher the country forward and how into an era that will be about economic sustainability, pathbreaking innovation and peerless creativity?

How and through whom would India base its next chapter where it comes to things like land, food, water and whatnot!

To explore all of this, it becomes necessary- not just mandatory- to understand the unique take, as per his normal standards, that Mr. Anand Mahindra offered on India’s forthcoming or imminent economic future? Things like where might the country stand on aspects such as its next phase of economic progress?

And to give a fair idea on what all did the 66-year-old industrialist had to say, it’s vital to take a note of the following.

“The Indian economy is often referred to as an Elephant. More recently it was termed a Tiger as its growth sped up. Well, even if it’s an Elephant, this shows that you should never count us out; we always find a way-no matter how awkward-to get over hurdles in our way!” the 66-year-old wrote on his Twitter account with over 8.5 million followers. Mahindra added the hashtag Monday along with his video tweet.”

“I always believe that when elephant starts, it shakes the whole area with it. Similarly when India will start showing its capabilities it will shake whole earth, we just have to wait,” one person replied to Mahindra’s tweet.”

The more youngsters actually start idolizing personalities such as the extremely well-meaning, driven and determined Shri Anand Mahindra, the better, one would reckon, will be the chances of that bold new India to prosper forwards that has always wanted to take the next leap (for the betterment of the country itself).
