Jeep Compass, the most anticipated Luxury SUV of the year, has been launched in India with a price tag that undercuts its competition with a huge margin. The Jeep Compass SUV has been launched with a starting price of Rs 14.95 Lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 20.65 lakh for the top-end variant (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Jeep Compass carries the title of being the first product from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) that has been made in India and will also be exported from the country to all right-hand drive markets in the world.
Pre-bookings for the Jeep Compass have already begun and now with his cut-throat price tag, it will take on the likes of Hyundai Creta, Hyundai Tucson, Tata Hexa, Mahindra XUV 500, and larger SUVs like Honda CR-V, Ford Endeavour, and Toyota Fortuner.
Ever since its official bookings started on June 20 this year, the Jeep Compass has witnessed a remarkable response in the Indian market, bagging more than 1000 bookings in the first three days as well as 5000 bookings till date.

FCA India is offering 3 years/100,000 km warranty on the Jeep Compass as well as Mopar care which comes with 3-year complimentary 24×7 Roadside Assistance. Jeep Compass’ service interval is at 15,000/1 year.

The combination of a 9-speed automatic transmission and diesel engine for the Jeep Compass will be introduced early next year. As for now, FCA is offering the 4×4 system in the Jeep Compass with its diesel-fed engine only. ARAI fuel-efficiency figures for the diesel-powered variants have been revealed and the powerhouse returns 17.1kmpl and 16.3kmpl for the 4×2 and 4×4 variants, respectively.
Jeep Compass, the 5-seater luxury SUV, comes loaded with features like a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display mated to a 6-speaker sound system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay supports, dual-zone climate control, push button start/stop, reverse parking sensors with a camera.
The Jeep Compass also comes with a host of safety equipment including six airbags, ABS with EBD, all-speed traction control system, electronic parking brake, ISOFIX anchorages for child booster seats and electronic stability control.
The Compass is available in India in five color options – Hydro Blue, Brilliant Black, Exotica Red, Vocal White and Minimal Grey.
